November 29, 2011 – A.D. Banker & Company, the national leader in classroom and online continuing education and insurance licensing, is proud to announce classroom, self study and online course options are now available for California’s 3 Hour Homeowners Valuation CE training. This course is approved to meet the State’s one-time, three (3) hour annuity training requirement for agents and brokers who sell Homeowners Insurance Policies. This course is available immediately for resident CE credit.
On or after June 27, 2011, prior to estimating the replacement value of structures or explaining the various levels of coverage under a homeowners' insurance policy, California resident agents and brokers who have not previously completed the homeowners' insurance valuation training, must do so. Completion of this course will fully meet the training requirements. The training requirement is part of, and not in addition to, the agents and brokers’ continuing education requirements.

November 22, 2011 – A.D. Banker & Company, the national leader in classroom and online continuing education and insurance licensing, is proud to announce their Hawaii 4 Hour Annuity Suitability self study and online CE course has been approved and meets the state’s one-time, four (4) hour annuity training course requirement. This course is available immediately for resident CE credit.
Hawaii brokers and producers licensed before 1/1/2012 must complete a 4 hour annuity course no later than 1/31/2012. Those licensed after that 1/31/2012 must complete the course prior to selling, soliciting or negotiating
Hawaii adopted the NAIC Suitability in Annuity Transactions Model Regulation recommendation. This Model Regulation set national standards and procedures for suitable annuity recommendations and requires insurers to establish a system to supervise recommendations so that the insurance needs and financial objectives of consumers are appropriately addressed.
