Testing Provider (PSI)
If you would like to sell insurance as an insurance producer in Oregon, you must pass a licensing exam. To prepare for the licensing exam, you must take a state approved insurance course. Insurance pre-licensing courses are provided by A.D. Banker & Company in many different formats: classroom, web classes, video lectures, online courses, or self-study. When you satisfy the requirements for your course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. Pre-licensing education is valid for one year from the date of completion; you will need to take and pass your state exam within this timeframe.
An exam fee must be paid at the time of reservation by credit card, debit card, voucher or electronic check. You can make a reservation through the following methods:
Oregon requires that you provide a set of fingerprints with your license application; fingerprinting services are provided at the testing site, but they will need to be paid for separately.
Two forms of current signature identification:
You will be required to supply a copy of your Pre-licensing Certificate of Completion in order to be admitted to the exam.

Immediately after the exam, pay the fingerprinting fees and have your fingerprints taken at the exam center. PSI will forward the fingerprints to the state on your behalf.
