Pennsylvania Announces Remote Testing

The Pennsylvania Insurance Department, working in conjunction with PSI, announced that beginning July 1, 2020, a new testing platform will be released in the state of Pennsylvania allowing PSI to offer remote testing for insurance exams.
 
For implementation of the Pennsylvania remote testing platform, there will be a blackout period with target dates from June 26-30. Exam scheduling and testing for all candidates will not be available during this period of time.
 
Exam scheduling and testing for Pennsylvania insurance candidates will resume at launch on Wednesday, July 1, 2020.

New York Announces Remote Testing

The New York Department of Financial Services, working in conjunction with PSI, announced that beginning June 15, 2020, a new testing platform will be released in the state of New York allowing PSI to offer remote testing for insurance exams.

For implementation of the New York remote testing platform, there will be a blackout period from June 11-14. Exam scheduling and testing for all candidates will not be available during this period of time.

Exam scheduling and testing for New York insurance candidates will resume at launch on Monday, June 15, 2020.

Virginia Changing Test Provider to Prometric

AD Banker has updated Life & Health and Property & Casualty courses for Virginia as a result of the change in the exam content outline and their test provider. Effective June 1, 2020, Prometric will be the new test provider in Virginia. Due to COVID-19, Prometric has upgraded security at test centers and added more test sites and remote proctoring capabilities that will allow candidates to test anywhere and at any time. 

Wisconsin Changing Test Provider to PSI

AD Banker has updated Life & Health and Property & Casualty courses for Wisconsin as a result of the change in their test provider. Effective July 1, 2020, PSI will be the new test provider in Wisconsin. PSI will continue to offer remote proctoring capabilities that will allow candidates to test anywhere and at any time. The exam content outlines have not changed, only the test provider.
