Michigan's LTC Partnership Program and Producer Training - Now Effective

January 8, 2016:  Michigan LTC Partnership Program was issued and entered into Michigan's Insurance Code on January 7, 2016.

Effective February 22, 2016, an individual shall not sell, solicit, or negotiate long-term care insurance unless the individual is licensed for accident and health or life, and has completed a one-time, 8-hour long-term care training course by February 22, 2017.


Ongoing training of no less than 4 hours is required every CE renewal period thereafter.
