Washington Property & Casualty Insurance Course Updated

A.D. Banker & Company has updated the Property & Casualty insurance course for Washington as a result of new exams, which go into effect February 1, 2019.

The exam content outline dictates what is important to cover in our courses and their related products. Accordingly, we cross-referenced each course with its corresponding new exam content outline to ensure all testable topics are addressed. Updates typically amount to a few changes made in the state-specific chapter. However, this year the state of Washington also made sweeping changes to content that typically is considered universal.

Changes include:

  • Removal of most of the testable Dwelling Policy topics
  • Removal of most of the testable Workers’ Compensation Policy topics
  • Removal of nearly half of the testable Commercial Auto topics
  • Addition of testable Businessowners Policy topics

In light of these changes, we have created a new study manual that combines universal and state-specific chapters for Washington so that we are not giving students more information than they actually need to pass the exam.
